Starting, running or growing a farming or fishing business isn’t easy. A business coach can help you get ahead faster than you would on your own!
The Young Farmer Business Program recommends eligible NSW farming businesses apply for the Farm Business Resilience Coaching Program. Designed for all enterprises large and small, this program is ideal for farmers, managers, and their employees, who are looking to upskill and learn about risk management, how to adapt to a changing climate, and improve the economic, environmental, and social resilience of their business.
At the end of the 2021/2022 program, we asked Matt & Cherie Coddington from Dubbo to reflect on what they’re doing differently in their business since taking part in the program.
Find out more about the Young Farmer Business Program:
The Young Farmer Business Program has been funded by the NSW Government through the Department of Primary Industries (NSW DPI) to help young farmers and fishers in New South Wales, Australia, develop better business skills. The program hosts workshops and events across NSW as well as developing business tools and templates, facilitating opportunities for business coaching and mentoring, and identifying grants and loans open to young farmers and fishers.
